Job Title: Service Technician/Applications Engineer-China
CNC Gear Measurement Systems
Summary:
Our client, is a OEM CNC Gear Measurement Machine Manufacturer. We have an opening for a Service Technician/Applications Engineer to travel to our customer sites in China to service Analytical Gear Measurement Equipment. The successful candidate will perform system installations, troubleshooting and repairs, and will work on electronics, electrical systems, and mechanical motion systems.
This is a hands on position that will require (80%) service, installation, applications, and training skills for CNC Analytical Gear Measurement System applications and (20%) technical sales support. Travel to the US is required for training. Candidate needs to be professional in appearance and have good English verbal and written communications skills.
Position Description:
1. Out of town travel is required. Candidate will need to travel to customer sites and stay in hotel rooms up to 1-5 days a week.
2. Candidate will work from the AMT Tech Center office in Shanghai, providing training, marketing support and service for the entire country.
3. When not performing service work, customer training, marketing and technical sales duties will need to be performed.
Requirements:
1.Responsive and customer focused approach to business.
2.Experience working on CNC controlled equipment.
3.Must be willing to travel 1-5 days a week & weekends if needed.
4.Strong electronic troubleshooting skills a must.
5.Strong electrical aptitude a must.
6.Ability to read electrical schematics & mechanical drawings a must.
7.Prior experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Field Service Engineer.
8.Able to train customers in software applications on inspection systems.
9.Computer literate especially in Windows？ environment.
10.Chinese and English verbal communication skills
11.Ability to organize time and keep good written records
12.Strong mechanical aptitude a plus.
